MBA INFORMATION for ASPPIRING STUDENTS

It is imperative for aspiring students to gather data on the courses they prefer to pursue in the near future. For the benefit of those who want to do their MBA in foreign countries, I have prepared a list of websites that give comprehensive details about the procedures involved in the admission process abroad and also the pre-requisites necessary for the same.

Most of us are ignorant about the procedures and it is really a pity when qualified individuals do not succeed in getting admissions while those who are smart in understanding the intricacies involved stand a better chance. This new feature will list down the websites talking about MBA ADMISSIONS ABROAD AND IN INDIA, THE PROCEDURES INVOLVED IN GETTING ADMISSIONS, THE PRE-REQUISITES LIKE GMAT, GRE, TOEFL AND CAT.
USA stands first in attracting prospective students for any graduate degree (MS) and then come countries like UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, Singapore and Newzealand. The process has to start well in advance, even when you are in your 6th semester, say if you are doing your third year of Engineering or Architecture. It is wise to first collect all the relevant data on the preferred courses available in various universities and then narrowing down the options to the best three or four. Applications can be downloaded online from the respective websites and almost all the foreign universities allot an online counselor  for students coming from outside their country.

Help desk gives you all the necessary information and it is also wise to talk to students who are presently studying in institutions you wish to apply. There are some websites that connect the students from India to the students in foreign university campuses and they charge a referral fee for this service. You also need to maintain your GPA throughout to stand a good chance for securing admissions. There is a column in the application form where you have to write about yourself and attribute the reason why you would want to study that particular course in that particular college. Be open and honest about your opinion and impress them with the clarity in your expression.

First Step: “THE APPLICATION PROCESS”
1.  Be clear why you want an MBA and from where?
2.  Send enquiries at least 15 to 18 months before the admission date to avoid wasting your precious time after the completion of your under graduate program.
