Leadership is defined as the action of leading a group of people or an organization with a definite purpose. It is still a mystery as to how only some people have the capacity to become real leaders. Right from Hitler to Mahatma Gandhi be they autocratic or transformational had the real power to make people believe and follow their ideals and conceptualisations. That is the true power of leadership that motivates people to do what is being told without an iota of skepticism.

Here are some Leadership Quotes which I believe will kindle your thought process and useful to the younger generation to mould and transform themselves in the path of great leaders.

  • “The quality of leadership, more than any other single factor, determines the success or failure of an organisation.” – Fred Fiedler and Martin Chemers
  • “A competent leader can get efficient service from poor troops, while on the contrary an incapable leader can demoralise the best of troops.” – John J Pershing
  • “Lead and inspire people. Don’t try to manage and manipulate people. Inventories can be managed but people must be lead.” – Ross Perot
  • “No man will make a great leader who wants to do it all himself, or to get all the credit for doing it.” – Andrew Carnegie
  • “Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston Churchill
Well, it all defines ledership perfectly. It is not the power that makes a leader more powerful but the in-built qulaity and attitude.

Barack Obama, the President of the US  has taken austere economic measures to cut down costs and to control recession which has definitely created a stir among the capitalists but still good for the people at large. Such leaders face severe criticism and opposition by fellow politicians and industrialists which might hinder their decision making process. True leaders though take a strong stand on their viewpoint and execute what is required in lieu of the external economic environment.

Are leaders born or made is still a million dollar question but a leader is born to win.
